Big changes in Insurance are coming – time for an Insurance review
Today I asked Danielle Ryley, Director of dRA and recognised Insurance Specialist what is one thing she’s recommending to clients before the 30th June.
If you remember to do one thing before June 30, have an Insurance Review ….. Insurance policies are like fire extinguishers in the kitchen, you know you need one but hope you never ever have to use it! So make sure you review your existing personal insurances (Life insurance and Income Protection etc.) or, more importantly put them in place!
If you have insurance in place, it is important to review your policy to ensure your cover continues to remain relevant to your lifestyle following any major life changes (e.g. new job, marriage, birth, loans).
Now, being just days to year end tax time, it’s time to address this and ensure tax deductions are maximised prior to June 30 and you and your family are protected.
Instead of paying monthly, if you pay for 12 months you will receive the total deduction now (with the tax saving, your insurance becomes cheaper).
A review doesn’t cost you anything but no insurance to claim on could.
